The "Last On, First Off" Rule: Always put your jewelry on *after* applying perfumes, hairsprays, and lotions. The chemicals in these products can react with the gold plating and cause it to dull or wear away prematurely.

Keep it Dry: While 304 stainless steel is water-resistant, frequent exposure to water (showering, swimming, or washing dishes) can eventually impact the bond of the gold plating. Remove your pieces before entering pools or the ocean, as chlorine and saltwater are especially harsh.

Sweat-Free Zone: Remove your jewelry before high-intensity workouts. The salts and acidity in sweat can accelerate the fading of the 18k gold layer.

Gentle Cleaning: If your jewelry looks a bit dull, clean it using only a soft, lint-free cloth or a specialized jewelry polishing cloth.
